YEAR 6:
In order to prepare our Year 6 children for their SATs tests in May, pupils have Maths and Literacy booster sessions after school on Wednesdays and Thursdays from January onwards. These sessions provide children with the valuable opportunity to further their learning. They are also strongly encouraged to attend Easter Booster, which takes place during the Easter Holidays.
YEAR 5:
Year 5 are also encouraged to attend Summer Booster which takes place at the end of Year 5 in the first week of the summer holidays. The week focuses on giving children an introduction to the year 6 Numeracy, Literacy and Science curriculum, thus preparing them for their final primary academic year. All of these booster sessions are free of charge and paid for by the school.
