On Wednesday 25th January 2017, teachers from across the local area came to Elmhurst to explore questions of religion, culture and diversity, at our Dealing with Diversity Conference. This conference, organised by Mr Walker and Claire Clinton from RE Matters, gave teachers the chance to meet different faith leaders - representing Islam, Christianity, Sikhism, Hinduism, Judiaism, Buddhism and Humanism - and there were a range of workshops and panels. Elmhurst is really proud of the community that it serves and the diversity represented within it, and it was fantastic to work with other schools locally to consider how we can continue to go above and beyond to give our pupils the best life chances and education available, so that they can take whatever paths they would want to take when they grow up.
